Mound 28 from the Paulje necropolis in Brezjak. A contribution to the absolute chronology of the Late Bronze Age in Serbia

The paper brings the results of archaeological excavations Mound 28 at Paulje necropolis, conducted in autumn 2019, along with two adjacent mounds. All aforementioned mounds were partially damaged and eroded through decades ploughing. Consequently, remains a Late Bronze Age burial recorded solely 28. According to grave inventory comprised bronze jewellery analogies from concurrent necropolises, it is assumed that belongs female individual (?). Besides extraordinary examples jewellery, such as pins, an arm ring, bracelets, crescent-shaped pendants, torques, amber organic substructure below fully cast ring has been successfully dated. absolute dating, attributed 14th century BC, completely corresponds previously dated features necropolis.
